Privacy Policy — Ateo Digital apps

Ateo Digital and Freedom Checker apps. Updated 14 August 2026.

Summary

These apps collect no personal data, store nothing about you on our servers, and share nothing with third parties. There are no accounts, no analytics, and no advertising.

Data we collect

None. The apps contain no analytics platforms, ad networks, or third-party SDKs that would gather information about you or your device. We do not request access to contacts, location, camera, microphone, files, installed apps, or device identifiers.

Data stored on your device

Some data is kept locally and never leaves the phone:

• Offline site copy. Ateo Digital ships with a saved copy of the website so articles open without a connection. It is part of the app and is not tied to you.
• Site snapshots. Freedom Checker saves copies of pages you view so you can revisit how the site looked at a given moment. Snapshots stay on the device and are never uploaded.
• Web view cache and local storage, exactly as an ordinary browser keeps.

All of it is removed when the app is uninstalled. Snapshots can be deleted individually inside the app, and clearing the app's data in Android settings erases everything.

Network access

The apps connect only to load pages from ateo.digital and its subdomains, including freedomchecker.ateo.digital. Like any web server, ours processes technical request data (IP address, device type) to deliver the page; it is not used for profiling or identification.

Links to other sites open in your browser and are governed by that site's policy.

Children

The apps are not directed at children and collect no data about them — as they collect none about anyone.

Changes

If this policy changes, we will update this page and the date at the top.
